Key Responsibility
Review annual maintenance plan, TAR plan, list of spare parts for procurement, estimated annual maintenance budget received from sites, incorporate the changes (if any) and share with Head Operations for validation.
Review RCAs of incidents (participate and lead for L1, L2 incidents in Mechanical Domain) and recommend issue resolution and action plan. Follow up with concerned site on implementation of action plan and share update with Head Operations.
Help Head Operations in developing maintenance strategy at national level for primary plants to maintain highest level of Reliability and availability in his domain.
Prepare quarterly audit plan and conduct audits as per the plan. Prepare audit finding reports and share with Maintenance In-charge, Facility Manager and supervisor for feedback. Follow up on implementation of action plans within timelines and share progress with supervisor.
Lead special projects launched by Head Operations (revival of large machinery, compressors etc) on time to time basis.
Involve in the TAR execution and major Mechanical equipment maintenance at sites and review maintenance reports prepared by maintenance in-charge.
Identify needs for tools, methodology, competencies and conduct gap analysis. Develop tools, methodology and competencies, train local Mechanical maintenance teams and resolve escalated issues, if any.
Lead Mechanical maintainability review for new plants as per design overview (such as equipment approach and isolation, safety etc). In case of non conformity (NCs), raise punch points and share with Engineering contractors. Track closure of NCs, prepare report of open NCs and share with supervisor.
Implementation of group projects (smart and innovative projects) on reliability improvement, ex: PRISM - predictive maintenance tool.
Competencies
Minimum Qualification & Experience
6-10 years experience in maintenance in industrial operations in Mechanical domain
Strong technical and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to think and act in a complex environment and to interact with other departments/ AL affiliates/ entities.
