The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices and equipment. The role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.Responsibilities:Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliabilityDeveloping project specifications and objectives, and ensuring that these are metConducting research to inform the design and development of new manufacturing processesEvaluating and improving existing systems and processesCollaborating with project managers and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budgetProviding technical advice and support to the manufacturing and production teamsConducting tests and assessments of new products and systemsEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field4-5 years of relevant work experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processesProficiency in CAD software and other relevant toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesKnowledge of industry standards and regulations
