Create detailed designs for mechanical systems and components using CAD software. Ensure designs meet all specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee mechanical engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality. Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment.
Ensure all mechanical systems and components comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines.
Research and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and performance of mechanical systems.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and quality assurance, to ensure cohesive project execution.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a similar industry. Proficient in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
