Currently we support 20+ Hitachi Energy factories spread over 14 countries with 100+ highly skilled engineers. Your responsibilities: The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Power Transformers design covering different countries. Responsible for design of power transformers. Will be part of a Global Engineering Center team and your task is to contribute to the global design work with positive team atmosphere and networking. Responsible for development of transformer designs in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on the purchase order requirement, ordering specification in different areas of transformer electrical design. Coordinating his order design activities within a worldwide factories network. Demonstrated team building and networking skills, would be a preference. Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Structural strength, Material properties and transformer mechanics A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required. Participation in internal design concept reviews. Your background: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 3-6 years of experience working in mechanical design for the power transformer manufacturing industry according to international standards such as IEC, DIN, IEEE, and EN. Candidates with more experience may also be considered. Experience in structural simulation is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools. The ability to communicate and collaborate with technical teams in different parts of the world. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage. A quick learner with the ability to master new areas. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
