Position Title: Data and Analytics MDM Technical Project Manager:
Data and Analytics Technical project manager is responsible for working with business stakeholders to collect a 360-degree view of their data requirements and ensure that the master data management solution meets their needs. The potential candidate will be expected to leverage their knowledge of data analysis and data management skills. He should also own and manage backlog and prioritize to support deliverables.
Job Description:
Stakeholder Management
Engage with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and strategic objectives.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business requirements and gain alignment.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively.
Ensure the MDM solution meets the needs of the business and end-users.
Project Management
Develop and manage the project plan, timeline for the MDM initiative.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Manage the project backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Data Analysis and Design
Analyze the current state of master data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Define data matching and merging rules to ensure data quality and consistency.
Design the master data hierarchy and relationships to support business processes.
Develop data integration strategies to connect the MDM solution with downstream systems.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on the MDM architecture and solution design.
Ensure the MDM solution is scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise data standards.
Governance and Change Management
Develop and execute a change management plan to drive user adoption and acceptance.
Provide training and support to end-users on the MDM solution and its capabilities.
Monitor and continuously improve the MDM solution based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
Qualification:
10+ years of IT industry experience, preferably in the data space.
4+ years of experience in Data Architecture specifically Master Data Design.
Proven experience in large-scale MDM systems.
In-depth understanding of data governance and associated technologies.
Understanding of enterprise data architecture principles.
Excellent SQL querying skills for data analysis.
Exposure to data science and AI is a plus.
