This unique opportunity places you right at the forefront of this emerging Global Sourcing Indirect Procurement operations. The position will work under the supervision of the Global Sourcing Supervisor and be responsible for:
Subject matter expertise in Supplier master data management with understating of Procure to Pay process
Language expert (Read, write, speak) in Japanese.
Ability to effectively communicate with the suppliers and stakeholders in Japanese language
Displays highest level of integrity in handling sensitive supplier data.
Troubleshoots problems arising in Supplier setup process, adding/changing supplier data.
Proficient in transactional systems – SAP ECC
Specialist in Enterprise Data Standards Governance for Supplier Master Data in SAP
Regular tracking and reporting of defined metrics * SLA’s.
Executes assignments with defined objectives in area of specialization.
Interacts with IT, Account Payable (AP) and other cross functions to support business needs.
Adherence to Global Sourcing policies, quality, audit, and compliance
Monitors processes for effectiveness of business controls
Understand SOX requirements, key controls and ensure processes are compliant
Supports and manages Merger and Acquisitions activities
Ability to influence & embrace the change in an evolving organization.
Solve complex problems and drive cross-functional initiatives
Provide assistance and support to Process analysts for developing new training material, updates as required.
Actively participation in team meetings, share experience and ideas
Follows established practices with Industry perspective.

Qualifications
Requires bachelor’s or master’s degree or University Degree or equivalent.
Specialized training/certification in master data management or equivalent - Preferrable.
Must have hands on experience in Supplier Data Management in SAP ECC.
Requires a minimum of 2+ years direct related experience, with typically 3-4 years overall experience.
Must have good verbal, written communications and customer service skills
Sound knowledge of banking data architecture, various attributes and country specific requirements and possible impact on downstream systems and processes
Desirable:
Project Management Skills
Knowledge Process Improvement Tools- Six Sigma, Lean, CI Methodology etc.
Exposure to new technologies: M365 Apps, Copilot, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learnings)
