Could you be the full-time Material Planning Operation Manager in our Global Capability Centre, Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive expertise in Material Planning Operations. You’ll work alongside dedicated, strategic, and collaborative teammates.
You'll lead the charge in ensuring smooth operations for Material Planning that are in scope, including Rolling Stock, D&IS & Service Business across the APAC region. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Cluster Supply Chain Director, Site / Business Supply Chain Manager, etc.), review and optimize processes and performance, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining budgets and strategies, as well as managing relationships with internal and external networks to ensure a strong connection between suppliers and customers. You will also drive continuous improvement and strategic actions to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements.
We’ll look to you for:
Defining and implementing strategies for Material Planning Operations
Periodic review and optimization of team processes
Leadership and team development towards operational excellence
Workload assessment and distribution within the team
Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relationships
Establishing robust governance with global, regional, and site stakeholders

Degree in Engineering (B.E.) with 13+ years of experience
Experience or understanding of Material Planning Operations in a relevant industry
Knowledge of supply chain management and production processes
Familiarity with performance metrics and SLAs
A certification in Supply Chain or a postgraduate diploma/Masters in Management is desirable.
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent stakeholder management abilities
