We are looking for Material Manager Depot
You’ll make a difference by
- Handling
of storage and material management
- Assists
the Materials Management and Logistics with the execution of the tasks
delegated to grant the optimum material management and storing of all used
materials.
- Receiving,
storing and issue of materials, supplies, and equipment as per defined process.
- Supervise
day to day material movement task & electronically booking in and out of
materials in CORMAP and maintain material records like material inward,
transfer, stock, repair stock etc.
- Supervise
the receiving and issue of stocks & Handle of stock transfer.
- Ensure
preparation of spare kits as per PM schedule and planning.
- Responsible
for management of tools and coordination with relevant team for issuance,
return back, reconciliation and calibration.
- Responsible
for maintaining Kanban bins at Shopfloor.
- Manage
the administration of store & supervise store personal on safety and
security matters.
- Responsible
for maintenance of MSL of spares and adequate stock for maintenance tools
including safety stock.
- Coordinate
with PRT for logistics and management and spares at PRT locations.
- Responsible
for the cleanliness and tidiness within the storage and workshop areas and
ensure continual improvement in 5S level within the storage areas.
- Coordination
with relevant stakeholders for ensuring the calibration / TPI / preventive
maintenance of tools, tackles, equipment, and instruments.
- Administration
of storage service vehicles like forklifts, trolleys etc.
- Ensuring
that material & spares are stored & handled as per defined storage
conditions and handling rules.
- Control
of incoming goods in respect of correctness by means of comparing delivery
documents.
- Marking
of store items in general for identification, traceability and ensuring FIFO
wherever applicable.
- Material
outward documentation for dispatch of items for repair
Desired Skills:
- PG/
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma preferably in material management or equivalent
with min. 10 years of work experience working in the warehouse / material
management.
- Should
have min 5 years working experience in rolling stock manufacturing /
maintenance projects.
- Should have basic experiences in production
areas (desirable LEAN basic experience)
