We are seeking a hardworking and well-rounded brand marketer, adept at balancing creative thinking with strategic execution, to join the Spotify Marketing team. The ideal candidate should bring deep experience and insights from the southern region of India, with a strong understanding of the rich cultural diversity and nuances of the south markets. This role requires a marketer who can seamlessly integrate regional cultural knowledge into impactful business strategies and innovative marketing solutions that drive Spotify's growth and engagement in South India. What You'll Do
Design marketing strategies to enable exponential user growth and brand building in the regional markets
Collaborate on brand communication across Above The Line (ATL) & Digital Media channels by crafting sharp evocative briefs & closely working with external & internal partners to deliver exciting campaigns
Spot and capitalize on relevant cultural moments in the region, integrating them with business priorities to drive impactful results
Drive culture marketing at Spotify, discovering chances for the company to have a meaningful presence in the region's cultural fabric
Lead the marketing mix design and improve the return on investment
Analyze internal and external data to gain a deep understanding of users in key regional markets and represent their voice in decision-making processes
Identify relevant cultural moments in the region and juxtapose the same with business requirements to deliver results in the region
Partner closely with the Insights and Analytics teams to define campaign performance metrics to ensure a high level of efficiency
Elevate the work of cross-functional teams: You will serve as a key voice in ensuring Marketing, PR, Social Media & Editorial teams are speaking with one voice to deliver consistent messaging and build equity
Who You Are
You are proficient in either Tamil or Telugu language or both
You have a minimum of 5 to 7+ years total work experience with at least 3 years of core brand marketing experience focusing in South India Markets
You love entertainment and consume incredible amounts of regional content
You are a thought-leader with a strong and well-informed point of view to critically analyze the latest trends and tactics to help grow earned media
Have a deep understanding of consumer insights and how they are translated into creative strategy and campaigns
Have deep knowledge in running a 360-campaign (acquisition-led) from strategy development to tactical execution (including TVCs, digital/social ads, print and out-of-home)
Experience in implementing innovative initiatives beyond traditional television and ad spots, with a focus on creative acquisition and engagement strategies across digital and social platforms
Understanding of the digital ecosystem and current marketing trends in acquisition
Should understand marketing & media analytics to evaluate campaign performance and optimize
Is a cross-functional leader who can engage, listen and collaborate with internal teams to align on overall strategy and goals as well as creative partners including production houses and talent
Ability to lead multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously working both independently and in close collaboration with a variety of team members
You are unafraid to try new things and can adjust without getting stalled by challenges along the way
