Role Summary:


The Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive the growth, awareness, and market penetration of our product portfolio within the traditional trade channel. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, trade marketing, and product development, to ensure effective positioning, impactful in-market activities, and sustained business growth in key markets.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Growth & Market Development:


Drive business growth and market expansion by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the traditional trade sector.


Conduct thorough market analysis to understand consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and trends to inform targeted marketing strategies.


Develop and execute data-driven marketing plans that align with company goals and regional market needs.


Brand Awareness & Product Positioning:


Enhance brand visibility and market share by increasing product awareness across traditional trade channels such as retail stores, independent distributors, and regional retailers.


Lead the creation and execution of in-store promotions, displays, and other marketing activities that resonate with local audiences and increase product demand.


Ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across all traditional trade touchpoints and consumer interactions.


Collaboration with Sales & Trade Marketing Teams:


Partner closely with trade marketing teams to design and implement effective point-of-sale (POS) materials, promotional campaigns, and trade incentives.


Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with sales targets, driving product uptake across key channels.


Provide training and support to sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped to communicate key product benefits and engage trade partners effectively.


Market Insights & Strategic Planning:


Utilize consumer insights, market research, and sales data to continuously refine marketing strategies and identify new business opportunities.


Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt and innovate marketing efforts accordingly.


Budget & Performance Management:


Oversee the marketing budget allocated to the traditional trade channel, ensuring optimal use of resources across various campaigns and activities.


Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, measuring KPIs and ROI to ensure the success of marketing investments.
