The ideal candidate will leverage Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud and related tools to design, implement, and optimize campaigns that align with the company’s marketing objectives.
This role bridges the gap between the marketing and engineering teams, ensuring technology solutions drive effective lead nurturing and campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Automation Strategy:
○ Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement lead nurturing workflows and campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
○ Enable marketing team in developing personalized email, SMS, and social media campaigns to engage prospects throughout the customer journey.
2. Lead Management:
○ Set up and maintain lead scoring, segmentation, and journey automation to ensure effective nurturing of leads.
○ Monitor lead statuses and ensure timely follow-up or handover to the sales team.
3. Integration and Data Management:
○ Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM for consistent data flow.
○ Maintain data accuracy and hygiene in the marketing database by implementing validation rules and regular cleanups.
4. Reporting and Insights:
○ Create dashboards and reports in Salesforce to track marketing performance against objectives (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates).
○ Provide actionable insights to the marketing team to refine campaign strategies.
5. Collaboration with Teams:
○ Work closely with the marketing team to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions.
○ Coordinate with Salesforce engineers to resolve technical challenges and implement enhancements.
6. Compliance and Best Practices:
○ Ensure all campaigns comply with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
○ Stay updated on Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices and incorporate them into workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
● Experience: 2-4 years of experience in marketing automation or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
● Strong understanding of lead nurturing, email marketing, and campaign management principles.
● Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
● Familiarity with marketing analytics and data visualization tools within Salesforce.
● Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and SQL for creating email templates and handling data queries.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
● Experience in the health insurance or related industry.
● Familiarity with other marketing tools like Pardot, HubSpot, or Marketo is a plus.
● Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Administrator. Additional Information
