The Impact You’ll Make in this Role


As a Marketing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to explore your curiosity and work with some of the most innovative and diverse individuals worldwide. Your role will make an impact by:


  • Being responsible for various marketing activities for Electrical Products in Trade (Retail and Electrical Hardware) Segment
    • Enhancing the Brand value in Trade segment
    • New product introduction – A to Z
    • Retailer, wholesaler schemes for product promotion
    • Promotions in Trade/Industrial trade markets
    • DSR, promoters, merchandising
    • Create demand at end user level
    • Price optimization and analytics ensuring profitability.
    • Customer insights
    • Execute and run marketing campaigns in Trade segment
  • Defining and coordinating execution of market/ customer analysis, and reports on findings to guide business decisions.
  • Implementing marketing tactics around product, channel, pricing and promotions, and execute efforts identified on the marketing plan.
  • Leading activities of moderate scope and complexity and develop solutions on product information operations, digital asset management, website, channel and e-commerce operations.
  • Being responsible for various CRM operations activities to service the end users, managers and/or channel.
  • Helping achieve Sales Targets and margin expectations for the portfolio
  • Actively participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complying with corporate policies and procedures, and act in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.
  • Collaborating for new product development and introduction with cross-functional team, following defined new product strategies from leadership.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements and reporting regarding working with customers.

Your Skills and Expertise 


To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications.


  • Bachelor’s Degree with MBA in marketing from a reputed university preferred.
  • Five (5) of experience in Trade markets / Industrial Trade
  • Strong knowledge on Customer Journey Map for Electricians, Electrical Engineers, Project managers, electrical contractors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with Cross Functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time.
