Who we are looking for:
Global Delivery is seeking a self-motivated, high-energy individual to oversee a multi-location operation in India. The role is ideal for a hands-on operations professional with solid Custody subject matter expertise, a proven record of effectively managing a large operation and a strong risk mindset.
Role Criticality and Responsibilities/Scope
The responsibilities of the team are broad and play a major role in the success of Custody Operations. Team functions include authentication, processing and settlement of transactions across over 100 global markets and include trades, cash and lending. In addition, the team has a significant inquiry management responsibility which includes direct client interactions. A dedicated team handles CSDR claims.
Leadership
The Managing Director will be responsible for oversight of over 500 India based staff and will have a dual reporting line, locally to the head of Custody and Complex Ops and globally to the Transaction Services, Settlements, 3PL and CSDR functional lead.
Service/Operational Excellence and Model Optimization
In addition to day-to-day management of BAU, the MD is responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, including conceptualization and delivery of independent efficiency initiatives as well as collaboration with Product and IT on key strategic initiatives.
