CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
BAU- Ensure consistent quality and quantity fulfilment of supplies through effective communications with key stakeholders.
Event management- Drive supplier events & RCA/CAPA for category and working with QA to facilitate disposition of non-conforming product, quarantine shipments, complaint follow up, tracking, and closeout
Owns MIS & data analytics/trend analysis for critical quality parameters.
Drive technical improvement strategies (trials and projects) at supplier premises that support India operation objectives and align with division as appropriate.
Lead alternate supplier development projects – Localization/KBR/M&P and support qualification projects.
Identifying cost saving opportunities and working with ANRD/QA to identify and execute quality system, GMP and operational improvements.
Establishing close and effective working relationship with the main functions of the supplier such as Planning, Purchasing, Finance, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Supply Chain and Logistics.
Deploy risk mitigation programs to limit exposure to supply disruptions due to technical or quality issues.
Documentations related to supplier management - change management & internal auditing.
Develop sensory evaluation annual plans for Supplier Develop, Audit and Maintain stage ingredient suppliers.
Sensory Panel qualification - Training of Sensory panel, Taster’s proficiency in blind tests capability building.
Sensory development at Suppliers – Lab qualification, Panel training and qualification, Plant sensory improvement by process interventions.
Sensory BAU – Sensory panel refresher and coordinators qualification at suppliers. Trending, Sensory RFT and monthly MIS.
Sensory calibration and suppliers' workshop alongwith JH team on sensory advancements and training for Abbott expectations.
Establish Reference sample and renew them from time to time.
Dispute management on sensory aspects – Jhagadia Vs Suppliers.
Participate in Jhagadia tasting sessions for Finished products / Intermediate products /Raw and Packaging materials, whenever required.
Support on sensory aspects for NPI projects – Prototypes development and organizing internal sensory sessions.
Consumer complaints – Evaluation, monitor and initiatives to reduce sensory related consumer complaints. Support supplier development for Sensory Evaluation for new RM.
Documentations – Development of LMM and ICS – Sensory related aspects.

Minimum 07 years of relevant experience.
Supplier Development, technical services, supplier quality assurance, Plant operations, sensory management.
Hands on experience is preferred in manufacturing of Food ingredients - Maltodextrin, edible Oils, Sugars, micronutrients, nutritional powders, quality assurance and process development.
Additional practical experience with a) aspects of micro-contaminants b) specific knowledge of technologies or practices related to processing and packaging, spray drying, dry blending, traceability, line clearance is a plus.
Candidate should be dynamic having good communication skills, data trending skills – Power platforms, advances skills and presentation skills.
