‘Visa Payments Learning Program’ (VPLP) Manager Job Description:
Visa is seeking a Manager, Talent Program Management to be a member of the Visa Global Talent team. This individual will be responsible for leading and driving best-in-class program management for Visa’s Early in Career Learning programs and initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to aid Visa in optimizing and upskilling teams across the globe.
The VPLP Program Manager at Visa will be responsible for managing the implementation and delivery of our certification program, Visa Payments Learning Program, in the India region. The program is designed to enable Indian citizens to become certified in technical areas related to the payments industry. This role requires working with institutions to implement our learning products into their curriculum/learning environment, pro-actively developing new relationships with institutions, managing customer success, and ensuring the program's lasting growth and success in the region.
The VPLP Program Manager will also work closely with Visa's partners and internal teams to identify, customize, and scale opportunities that establish Visa's position as a player in the cybersecurity space. They will provide feedback and insights to Visa's solutions teams to help shape the future of Visa's cybersecurity solutions.
Role and responsibilities:
- The role will be based in Bengaluru and will report in-region to the Head of Visa University for Asia Pacific and ultimately to the Visa Global Talent team, collaborating with professionals in Visa University, Government Engagement and Talent Acquisition
- Key resource point for managing cybersecurity solutions by effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders (across markets) as well as external stakeholders.
- Support and or identify appropriate Indian organizations and institutions where Visa Payments Learning Programs can/should be implemented
- Collaborate with educational institutions and partner organisations to implement the Visa Payments Learning Program in their curriculum/learning environment, includes gathering requirements, consulting with academic staff and overseeing implementation projects to ensure timely and effective completion.
- Support training and education of stakeholders and academics at partner institutions including product demonstrations and curriculum walk-throughs.
- Identify institutional learning needs and ensure the program's curriculum remains up-to-date and competitive.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local institutions and partners to promote the certification program. Act as the primary point of contact for institutional partners, addressing their needs and ensuring program alignment with their objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to institutions participating in the certification program, ensuring a positive and valuable experience.
- Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve the program's effectiveness. Consistently analyze data and research to identify root causes and areas to optimize work, establish operational efficiencies.
- Develop strategies to expand the reach and impact of the certification program in India, increasing student enrollment and program awareness.
- Analyze metrics and data to track program performance and identify areas for growth and enhancement.
- Collaborate with learning, branding, government engagement and legal internal teams to align the certification program with Visa's curriculum learning goals and strategic direction from government initiatives.
- Work with the Communication team to provide support on marketing and publicity campaigns to drive recruitment of program participants and awareness of our programs.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including students, educators, and institutional partners, to enhance program engagement and satisfaction.
- Build, analyze, maintain, and distribute Talent Acquisition data analytics to stakeholders regarding performance indicators/trends to impact program results and strategic objectives. Utilize data to define problems, ideate solutions, and implement solutions.
- Budget management, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Business, Information Technology). -
• 6-9 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or +4 years of additional related experience in lieu of degree. Strong understanding of the payments industry and technical certification programs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in project management and driving program growth.
• Consultative approach with ability to demonstrate positive relationship building with various partners
• Deep experience developing reporting and metrics and interpreting data for insights on business processes
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentational communication skills, and experience handling confidential information
• Result-oriented and initiative-taking personality that proactively seeks to generate impact for both clients and within Visa
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts and value propositions in a clear and compelling way
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with educational institutions in India or similar markets. - Certification in project management or related areas.
• Knowledge of industry certifications such as Cisco, AWS, or Microsoft etc
• Fluency in local languages spoken in India for effective communication with partners.
• Leadership presence and credibility to interact with all levels of employees and stakeholders, including senior leaders
