Purpose of the Job:
To manage, lead, plan & direct the end-to-end Supply Chain function for Armacell India & South Asia business from RM procurement to FG dispatch.
To develop and drive a company’s supply chain strategy for Purchase, Production & inventory and Demand planning, Trade Compliances, Logistics & Warehouse Management, Customer Service.

WAM Supply Chain Pillar,
Customer service management in collaboration with other departments to create coordinated plans for supply continuity
Description of main tasks:The Incumbent is responsible for the following tasks:Production Planning
To implement strategies and initiatives for material procurement & Production planning processes -To manage OTIF and production planning and scheduling of all the machine centers to ensure optimum capacity utilization and increased material availability.
Vendor Management
To implement plans and initiatives for supplier selection and evaluation & to evaluate supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, commitment, and conduct regular audits
To implement plans and initiatives to build competitive supplier base for purchasing in areas of RM, Consumables, Capital and Maintenance requirements based on suppliers’ quality, technological capabilities and financial performance
Procurement of Materials & Services
To implement plans and initiatives for procurement of all materials & services required for the business at the most competitive prices by building a competitive supplier base for all products & services & constantly evaluate cost saving opportunities in Supply Chain and to ensure continuous availability of right material at right time and cost.
To monitor and control landed cost of all raw material and packing material to be within the budgeted cost, forecasting material prices and report it to management for further action.
Demand Planning
To closely work with Sales team in identifying demand for each product category & ensure product availability. Supervise to publish the Sales demand & actions to meet the demand.
To implement plans and initiatives for the S&Op process for the business with an objective to achieve OTIF & Budgeted Inventory levels.
To analyze Sales trend & identify key drivers of Sales to enhance forecasting accuracy
Inventory Management
To implement plans and initiatives for Inventory of all materials to ensure Inventories are within budgeted levels by building checks & controls to ensure smooth flow of materials and to ensure inventory accuracy. Ensure Zero-line stoppage due to material shortage.
Regulatory / Trade Compliance
To implement plans and initiatives for all related trade compliances in supply chain & to ensure the timely filing of various returns, liasoning with Govt. Authorities
Logistics & Warehouse Management
Ensuring the health and safety wellbeing of the employees with zero incidents throughout the logistics and warehouse operations
Drive logistics and warehouse operations for both inbound and outbound with efficient vehicle turn around time and OTIF as per targets within the cost budgets.
Ensuring the inventory accuracy and overall health of the inventory.
Develop New Product/Vendor
Develop a new vendor /product to support the product development team to get product outsourced from supplier or manufacture inhouse
WAM Supply Chain Pillar
To lead WAM SCM & CS Pillar as per company's strategy and WAM evaluation guide
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
People Management
Establish high performing team with aligned objectives to achieve India mission. Demonstrate doing business in A.R.M.A. way
