About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
- 10 years of experience in software development
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc., or equivalent experience
It would be great if you also had…
- 7 years of experience leading a software development or related team
- Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, Redshift, AppFlow, Glue, Kinesis, and Athena
- Experience with Big Data technologies and ETL frameworks
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools to contribute to project success
What will you be doing in this role?
- Develop the services needed as per requirements
- Deliver the required development tasks in a timely manner
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are completed to a quality standard. This includes delivery on time, within budget, and to specification
- Contribute to the software architecture of key solutions
- Review technical requirements provided by the business for key projects, to take concepts from design to delivery
- Provide solid software/component-level designs supporting technical requirements.
- Help drive projects through the full development life cycle when required, liaising with team leads and external vendors across the business as appropriate
- Contribute to project plans if needed
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and tools to contribute to project success
