Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager/Lead - Commercial Sales to lead and manage our commercial sales team in the EU region. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee the entire sales function, including inbound, outbound, and partnerships, while driving business growth across multiple European markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scaling the sales team, aligning sales efforts with marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring regional pipeline and revenue targets are met.

 


Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Management:


  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of commercial sales professionals across the EU region.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the European market, ensuring regional revenue targets are met.
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor team achievements, and provide coaching and development to maximize success.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture with a strong focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and scale the sales team to support business expansion across the EU.

Pipeline & Revenue Ownership:


  • Own and manage the entire regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Drive the team to achieve and exceed sales targets, optimizing conversion rates across inbound, outbound, and partnership-driven channels.
  • Identify sales process gaps and implement strategies to improve efficiency and performance.

Outbound & Inbound Sales Management:


  • Work closely with marketing teams, including Field/IMT Marketing, to drive outbound sales initiatives in key European markets.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing to optimize inbound lead generation and ensure high-quality lead conversion.
  • Establish best practices for prospecting, qualification, and deal-closing to maximize revenue across diverse EU customer segments.

Partner & Ecosystem Management:


  • Oversee and guide the team in building and managing strong relationships with partners, resellers, and distributors across Europe.
  • Work with partners to develop and execute regional go-to-market plans and joint business development initiatives.
  • Ensure sales teams effectively leverage partner relationships to drive pipeline and revenue growth.

Event & Outreach Leadership:


  • Represent the company and lead the sales team in key industry events, conferences, and customer engagements across Europe.
  • Drive the execution of events, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and measurable ROI.
  • Encourage the team to actively participate in networking and customer engagement activities to generate new business opportunities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with Product, Pre-sales, Support, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Guide the sales team in effectively positioning the company’s products and services in the European market.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on market trends and customer insights to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Experience: [Specify required years, e.g., 10+ years] in commercial sales, with at least [X years] in a leadership role managing a sales team.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven experience in leading sales operations in the EU region, with knowledge of local markets and business cultures.

  • Pipeline Management: Ability to forecast sales, track pipeline, and implement data-driven sales strategies.
  • Strategic Execution: Ability to develop and execute sales plans aligned with regional business objectives.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working with marketing, partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Event Management: Ability to lead the sales team in executing successful events and outreach initiatives.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), analytics, and sales automation tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving market environment across multiple European countries.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in a SaaS, Technology, or IT industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of partner ecosystems and channel sales models within the EU region.
  • Exposure to international sales strategies across multiple European markets.

Multilingual skills (e.g., English + another European language) are a strong advantage.
