Overview The primary role of this person is a designer, who will support on content creation and adaptation for Asia region, with Roto Artist & 3D modelling skills who can meticulously extract or separate the foreground elements from the background to enable further manipulation or compositing in post-production. The designer would be part of the content development team for APAC to execute and produce digital assets which enables the business utilize the assets. Responsibilities To produce high quality digital content for APAC markets and expertise in 3D modelling with rotoscope skills. Design skills – strong foundation in design principles for producing high quality photorealistic renders Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as blender, Maya, 3ds Max for creating basic 3D models Rotoscoping: Utilize industry-standard software, such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or Silhouette, to accurately trace and extract specific elements or objects from video footage frame by frame This involves creating detailed mattes or masks for individual frames to isolate the desired elements or remove unwanted elements Quality Control: Perform quality checks on the rotoscoping work to ensure accuracy, precision, and consistency throughout the project Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other VFX artists, such as compositors, matte painters, and CG artists, to ensure smooth integration of the rotoscoped elements into the final composite Effective communication skills are crucial to understand and implement the artistic vision and direction provided by supervisors and clients Time Management: Adhere to project deadlines and milestones, managing time efficiently to deliver high-quality rotoscoping work within the given timeframe Prioritize tasks effectively and communicate any potential issues or delays to the production team Qualifications 5-7 years of Experience in relevant industry with Design tools like Silhouette, Mocha Pro, Adobe After Effects, Blender,Nuke, Natron, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Premier, desired Drawing skill: trace accurately with a good line Patience: be methodical and thorough, taking care to rotoscope well so as to help to produce a high-quality final image Knowledge of programs: be adept at using relevant programs such as Photoshop Delivery: work well with strict deadlines, be able to complete work under pressure Taking initiative: observe what’s happening, be pro-active, ask questions at the appropriate time Highly collaborative : works well with others, including Marketing services teams, internal marketing stakeholders and external suppliers, to deliver results Highly organized and responsive: with ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines Can synthesize multiple, disparate data sources and is an exceptional story-teller.
