Overview This role will support the NRM team in its agenda to build best-in-class NRM capabilities across the sector. Positioned in our NRM Snacks team, your principle role will be to support the Snacks agenda through: Reporting and surmising our Snacks NRM performance through our monthly NRR/ value realization and quarterly QBR reporting Support building strategic models and analytics against Horizon 1 Snacks opportunities for business units, and Horizon 2-3 projects with our regional category (e.g. developing Mix platforms, Scale Channel PPA, Brand Ladder development) This role will provide cover for the same activities for our Beverages analyst and visa-versa Outside this primary objective, the role will also provide analytical support to the broader NRM workstreams such as (but not limited to): Consolidating NRR plans during the strategic cycle Preparing NRR deep-dive progress reports for executive – e.g. pricing execution, mix performance etc. Supporting building presentation materials for key strategy presentations (e.g. Operating Board, AOP, Global CCO presentation etc) Deliver analytics on key strategic workstreams e.g. NRM 2.0 (multi-year BU diagnostics across all NRM levers to build BU PSP roadmap) Provide business support in migrating automated dashboards to the Global Analytics Hub with Global/Sector transformation leads Support Global OPW Playbook Pilots in BUs – e.g. Brand Ladder, CDA, OBPA projects (ahead of broader GBS automation) This position will be part of the GBS - Global Net Revenue Management organization. This position contributes to the success of the company and contribute to growth through strategy development, and implementation of NRM frameworks. The incumbent have the opportunity to work directly with revenue management, finance and commercial teams across BUs and sector colleagues. Responsibilities GBS NRM analyst will be responsible for conducting data analyses to diagnose and understand business performance by BU x category Surmise results in clear, clear PowerPoint presentations for executives Run analytics for key strategic NRM projects across all relevant NRM levers (Pricing, Promotion, Assortment Mix & Trade Investment) for BU (e.g. NRM 2.0) and Sector (e.g. regional marketing Price/ Mix) projects Develop observations/insights for each analysis in the NRM playbook and synthesize insights across analyses to create a storyline of opportunities Aggregate NRM plans during key strategic cycle (e.g. PSP/ AOP) and highlight areas for EUR NRM review vs set strategic guiderails Improve processes of analyses and data management across category business units and marketing functions Collaborate with Market Cluster Leads to understand market dynamics and incorporate market feedback into analyses Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology – including migrating tools to Global Analytics Hub Create an inclusive and collaborative environment Key Activities Perform granular level analysis to identify growth opportunities Prepare data for the analyses to be performed (Excel essential; Alteryx or equiv. desired) Prepare executive ready communications (PowerPoint) surmising performance and opportunities across NRM levers Understand the nuances of the product category and market to tailor the output according to business needs Run the analyses and create visualizations (PowerPoint essential; Power BI and Tableau experience preferred); prepare drill down analyses to derive insights Create a storyline out of various analyses output for the business to comprehend the output Meet the service level agreements and perform QC of the end-to-end analysis Expand playbook analytic pack scope to include additional analyses upon alignment with market Qualifications Strong academic background – e.g Bachelor’s in commerce/business administration/Engg., Master’s degree +3 years of experience in Retail Analytics/Category Management/Revenue Management 2-3 years of relevant professional experience working with large data sets and experience in CPG /Consulting / GBS Organizations Very strong analytical skills – excellent competency in MS Excel is a must, as is experience of managing complex, incomplete & inconsistent datasets and defining strategic analytics (market sizing/growth forecasts etc). Experience in any of the NRM lever practices- Pricing, Promo, Assortment, Trade Investment Prior experience in data analytics to derive data driven insights and consolidate them to generate recommendations Experience in developing data-driven models for sales and marketing function Ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Good collaborator and influencer: Experience working with a breadth of stakeholders and peers – levels, functions and across countries in Europe Experience in Tableau / Power Bi Proven experience using PowerPoint and ability to producing visually compelling presentations (i.e. beyond just operating the software) that are impactful with a senior audience Ability to extract key messages from complex data and craft a clear narrative Clarity in communication (English language) to enable production of a very high standard of commentary that is impactful and credible amongst our most senior audiences.
