Purpose of Position: 
Gilbarco Veeder-Root (GVR) is seeking tenured accounting professional to play a critical role in creating our Global Process Standards and managing service delivery across multiple geographies and business units. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has a strong technical accounting, migration, service delivery track record, talent acquisition, development, retention, people leadership, transformation, stakeholder management, metrics reporting, business expansion, global background along with an unmatched ethical bias. This person, in addition to all the skills that are listed will also have an interest in expanding their influence and experience by embedding within a business unit to work together with business and finance leaders This candidate will have appropriate professionalism and intellectual curiosity to provide confidence in their ability to identify and support resolution of challenges end to end from design, deployment, execution, support, transformation and stakeholder concerns while interfacing with our teams around the world to drive improvement.


Responsibilities: -
Process Tower – Record to Report
•    Process Strategy and Design: The GPO defines the strategic direction for the process area, aligning it with business goals and objectives. They design and optimize end-to-end processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
•    Standardization and Transformation: The GPO ensures consistent process execution across different regions or business units. They drive process transformation initiatives, adapting to changing business needs and technological advancements.
•    Stakeholder Management: The GPO collaborates with various stakeholders, including business leaders, process owners, and IT teams. They communicate process changes, gather feedback, and address concerns.
•    Performance Measurement: The GPO establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process effectiveness. They analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process enhancements.
•    Governance and Compliance: The GPO ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and industry standards. They implement controls to mitigate risks and maintain process integrity.
•    Change Management: The GPO leads change initiatives related to process improvements, technology implementations, or organizational restructuring. Managing process changes and ensuring smooth adoption. Addressing resistance and fostering a positive culture.
•    Process Expertise: In-depth understanding of the specific process area they oversee. Knowledge of industry best practices and benchmarks.


Qualification & Experience:
•    CA preferred, Accounting (or finance) graduate degree minimum or masters or semi qualified accountants
•    Minimum of 10 up to 20 years accounting experience ideally with a large national or international organizations preferable manufacturing vertical 
•    Previous experience as GPOs in any MNCs is added advantage.

-    Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership skills to drive change and gain buy-in from stakeholders. Ability to influence cross-functional teams.
-    Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making. Identifying process bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
-    Communication: Effective communication with diverse audiences (executives, process owners, IT teams). Clear articulation of process changes and benefits.
-    Risk Management: Mitigating risks related to process deviations, compliance, and security. Implementing controls and monitoring.
-    Collaboration: Working across functions, regions, and business units. Building strong relationships with stakeholders.
-    Others: US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Proven professional with understanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems. Hands on experience with end to end of process knowledge including documentation and assessment of design and operating effectiveness of controls. Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively within all levels of the Company including those outside of the accounting function. A proven track record in meeting deadlines and working collaboratively as part of a team. Demonstrated leadership capability and a strong desire to advance in your career through stretch assignments and personal growth. Intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) and tech savvy to enable adoption of new software tools.
