Job Summary: The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Project Manager, who will help candi to lead the solar revolution. Given that candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.
Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following for the India team:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans inline with company’s strategic goals and objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality & Safety standards.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- 2-4 years of experience as Project Manager in Open Access or Utility scale projects is a must.
- Clear understanding of state policies and related approvals.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar tools, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with EPC’s (Project Site Team, SCM, Design, Solar CC, QHSE, Admin, Evac, etc.) to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.
- Monitor project financials, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting, to maximize project profitability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
Location: Bangalore & Gurgaon
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with 8-12 years of overall working experience.
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in the solar energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar project lifecycle, from development to operations.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of Engineering/Design review of Rooftop/Ground mounted projects
- Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
