Overview As Sr. Planogram /Space Planning Analyst works with Category Mgt. teams to develop, design and execute Space and layout – with the end goal to deliver visually appealing versioned planograms based on store clustering, space definitions and defined flow and ensure planograms meet approved parameters. .Prepare and host primary data hierarchies and follow space planning templates to recommend right assortment and space as per decision tree. Must be an expert in assortment planning, understanding shopper decision tree research and translating merchandising principles into shelf. Will be an expert in JDA, with at least 8+ years of experience on the software - ensuring planogram quality control ensuring all planograms meet assortment requirements, visual appeal, innovation opportunities and shelving metrics. Continuously identify opportunities and implement processes to improve quality and timeliness of output. Display advance Project management skills to lead multiple projects seamlessly and ensuring timely delivery of projects Responsibilities Be a single point of contact for complex category/region by mastering PEP Process and Category knowledge. Partner with Category Manager / KAM’s to building business context and creating effortless partnership to tailor deliverables according to market needs Display advance Project management skills to lead multiple projects seamlessly and ensuring timely delivery of Document Shopper decision tree and merchandizing principles by category – leveraging both global and local knowledge. Knowledge Sharing: Gain in-depth knowledge of PepsiCo business, categories, products, tools and share new learnings with the team on a continual basis to enhance range and space deliverables for FLNA Regions. Contribute to Space planning by developing/maintaining templates, updated quarterly. Contribute to the execution of planograms, best-in-class reports, tools, and customized shelving/assortment plans by leveraging merchandising guidelines. Manage end to end best-in-class Planograms by becoming an SME for PEP categories. Acquire Space automation skills to automate planogram execution OR Acquire space analysis skills to improve space productivity. Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work Display a high sense of accountability when completing requests with high visibility or tight turnaround times Scale-up growth by identifying areas where CI is required, both within existing scope, as well as new areas of opportunity Create an inclusive and collaborative environment with focus on achieving team goals vs individual goals Actively learn and apply advanced level of expertise in JDA, MS Excel, all other relevant applications. Work alongside peers and inculcate best practices and elevate the team's ability to tackle business questions with value adds Actively learn & implement principles of trade & category management Act as a mentor/trainer for the new hires and guide Associate/Sr/Space Analyst, on an as needed basis. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Sales Management / Assortment and Space 4+ years of Retail / FMCG Experience. Bachelor’s in commerce/business administration/marketing, Master’s degree is a plus Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated advanced Excel skills necessary Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions Advanced knowledge and experience of space management technology platform JDA (6+ years) Advanced knowledge of space planning and assortment and range optimisation Propensity to learn PepsiCo software systems and ability to provide superior customer service Best-in-class time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan Differentiating Competencies Required Good knowledge of product merchandising and shelf management Able to handle multiple projects with aggressive timelines and ensure quality is maintained Work in systemic way to ensure all data hierarchies, retailer blue prints, image repository and mapping are maintained in a central drive. Works with Category team to ensure bringing best practice into NA Regions team and also repositorize it. Highly organized and responsive, with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines Strong data analytic skills and ability to utilize multiple sales and shopper data sets to devise execution tactics Strong attention to detail to govern DX GBS space planning work for the sector is accurate and to brief Excellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional manner to influence stakholders Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multi-functional teams Be flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities Organization effectiveness
