Job Purpose

Managing and leading the team of People Services agents and supporting Hire to Retire actions and queries including, onboarding/transition of new work, stakeholder management, participating in designing, execution as well as continuous improvement.




Key Accountabilities

The PS (French) manager will be responsible to manage the team providing HR support to AkzoNobel Employees in France. Responsible for managing the team providing support in French language. This includes Supporting employees on HR Policy, Procedure Leave systems, Benefits, and Other Queries related to France. Supporting data updates to HR data base and processing HR Documentation in French for the employees.


  • Manage the Hire to Retire process and Queries for designated countries. Also, managing the Peopel Services team for the country
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders in France across multiple team (Finance, HR and  other PS teams) to establish data collection and validation processes
  • Ensure accurate data in SF and for Payroll inputs;
  • Support Employees in French factories of AkzoNobel either via email/call/chat (all in French)
  • Redefine process and drive implementation when significant changes to organizational approach on initiatives occur.
  • Keep up-to-date on policies and procedures and ensure and updated  ServiceNow (online service) articles;
  • Support audits w.r.t. France HR requirements for in scope countries
  • Manage the overall ticketing system on Service Now to manage employee queries and adherence to all KPIs while doing that
  • Managing PS projects with various stakehodlers eg. Project Management team, Continuous Improvement, Service Excellence etc.
  • Provide expertise on global and local policies and procedures
  • Provide expertise support to the Contact Center to resolve cases/queries within agreed SLAs.
  • Refer complex cases or exceptions to Centers of Expertise and communicate effectively with the Contact Center or requestor as appropriate.
  • Assist to translate and implement policies from the Center of Expertise into transactional processes and services that can be performed by People Services
  • Coordinate with payroll team in France to ensure timely and accurate payouts
  • Address all data requests in timely and effective manner


Experience

Experience & Educational Requirements:


8-10 years


Bachelor’ degree in Finance, HR or Economics related education


Experience in, HR, or HR Operations supporting France


Experience in managing small teams


Experience in coordinating processes


Knowledge on HR Operations and HRIS transaction


Skills:


Good communication skills in English and French oral and writing


Strong Service Mindset and Stakeholder Management skills


Excellent Microsoft Excel skills


Accurate time management skills


Planning and control


Data crunching and reporting


Continuous Improvement mind-set (Lean 6 Sigma / Green / Black belt practice is an advantage)
