Build, support and protect OT foundations by being accountable for the area and acting as “trusted partner of choice” for key manufacturing functions


Co-ordinate and drive the OT deliverables/systems and to ensure their stable operations.


Provide liaison between the local business team and technical solutions, whilst ensuring the production demands of the business are maintained.


Owner of the site OT roadmap of local business manufacturing operation team in alignment with the Global OT.


Ensure with respected IT local and global counterparts that the network and hardware elements supporting the local OT systems are delivered, adapted, properly monitored, secured and fully operational.


Accountability


  • Accountable for OT applications deployment and stable operations across the site following standard Guidance and Practices
  • Define optimal organization across the site to ensure stable OT operations
  • Contribute to OT/IT standards and Global designs development via sharing good practices and expertise
  • Collect and formalize local OT requirements
  • Define responsibilities between OT and IT
  • Accountable for site OT capability building plans execution / Act as local OT roadmap owner
  • Coordinate and manage (dotted line) the team of site OT experts
  • Responsible for the management of the technologies in the local Manufacturing and lab environments, including Process Control Systems, Maintaining a validated environment, Manufacturing Computer and Systems Validations, Requisite SOP management, QA and QC systems, Related IT infrastructure for Production and Laboratory
  • Knowledge in OT/Automation PLC/SCADA, MES systems along with OT software space: Historians, data acquisition services, OPC
  • Support in commissioning and qualifications of OT Systems (BMS, EMS, Process machineries, Umbrella systems
  • Interface Good understanding of IT landscape for OT solutions: physical and virtual server platforms, knowledge of Microsoft operating platform and applications for information system projects, maintenance and developments. Provide standardized solution.
  • Provide feedback on project status and resolution of issues. Ensure a proper consideration of the Users and Compliance Requirements
  • Ensure system integration and connectivity from and to existing applications.
  • Responsible for Stakeholder, Vendor and Project management
  • Accountable for OT applications deployment and operations following Standard Guidance and Practices defined in coordination with local and global resources (OT, IT, external vendors).
  • Act as the site OT Roadmap owner. Coordinates with the site leadership team, Global OT and IT on project priorities.
  • Contribute into Global OT community via review of the standards, sharing good practices and lessons including Process use of Lean methodology in process and system improvements
  • Act as the key partner / Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Local Manufacturing, Engineering and leadership teams on OT systems requirements to achieve overall site business objectives.
  • OT Asset lifecycle management including network architecture, technical documentation and upgrade/remediation plan as per OT Roadmap.

Required Education / Qualifications / Skills


  • Master/Engineering Degree in Electrical / Automation, Process Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent degree with pharmaceutical industry automation exposure.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in technical implementation of Process Automation solutions on a supplier or customer side – within Pharmaceutical/Life Science/FMCG industries.
  • Experience in handling Health Authority Inspection/Audit
  • Proven experience with DSC (Emerson, ABB, etc.), PLC/SCADA (Siemens, Wonderware, Rockwell), MES systems. Good understanding of OT software space: Historians, data acquisition services (OPC, etc.), manufacturing and quality management systems integration approach.
  • Good understanding of electrical standards and IT landscape for OT solutions: physical and virtual server platforms, knowledge of the Microsoft operating platform and applications.
  • Leadership skills with focus on process improvement, compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English; Knowledge of regional language will be added advantage.
  • People management skills

  • Change Management, ability to build effective teams through facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Proven ability to understand, influence and motivate others with strong analytical skills.
  • Project management skills with budget responsibility/management experience.
  • Good communicator (both written/verbal) and listening skills.
