We are seeking an experienced Manager of UI to lead the development of our Platform Central UI and UI Toolkit. This role will drive the design and scalability of user interfaces across the platform, leveraging expertise in React.js and component-based architectures. As a leader of a distributed team, you will build and mentor UI engineers across geographies, ensuring a consistent, intuitive user experience.
As the Manager of UI, you will lead the design and development of the FLX ONE UI toolkit and components, creating intuitive interfaces that enhance the functionality and usability of our platform. You'll collaborate closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to ensure a consistent and efficient user experience across our applications. This role requires a deep understanding of React.js and a strong background in managing cross-geo, distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities:
UI Strategy & Development: Define and execute the vision for the FLX ONE Platform Central UI and UI Toolkit, ensuring they meet technical, aesthetic, and functional standards.
Cross-Geo Team Leadership: Lead a distributed team of UI engineers, fostering collaboration and maintaining alignment across different time zones to drive a unified UI development strategy.
React.js Expertise: Guide the team in building reusable components, optimized UI code, and scalable frontend solutions, with a strong focus on React.js best practices and architecture.
Consistency & Usability: Develop and implement a cohesive UI toolkit and component library, working with design and product teams to maintain consistency across the FLX ONE platform.
Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends in UI/UX and frontend development. Promote a culture of innovation and ensure best practices are consistently applied across the team.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with backend, product, and UX teams to ensure UI features integrate seamlessly with the platform’s functionality and design vision.
Mentorship & Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing UI engineering team, fostering an environment of continuous learning, innovation, and career growth.
What You Bring to the Role:
Technical Proficiency: 7+ years of experience in UI development with a strong focus on React.js. Proficiency in building scalable, component-based UI architectures.
Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience managing cross-geo engineering teams, with a proven track record of leading distributed teams to success.
UI Toolkit and Component Library Expertise: Experience designing and implementing reusable component libraries and UI toolkits that ensure consistency across applications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams, including backend, product, and UX teams.
Customer-Centric Design: A passion for creating user-centered designs that enhance usability and functionality.
Problem-Solving Skills: A solutions-oriented approach to complex UI challenges, balancing technical rigor with pragmatic decision-making.
