Meet your team:-
The System Engineering team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s servers, storage, email, and other system-related functions on cloud infrastructure. Their responsibilities include participating in audits and vulnerability assessments, automating processes through scripting, troubleshooting and addressing major incidents, optimizing performance, coordinating team efforts, and adopting best practices to drive technical enhancements on cloud platforms. As a collaborative and high-performing team, they excel in tackling complex challenges and delivering reliable solutions. What you'll do:-
As the System Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of system and storage engineers and be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project deliverables, and ensure the infrastructure meets current and future needs. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership , Infrastructure Management, Project Management, Security and Compliance, Operational Excellence. What you bring:-
Infrastructure Management:
Experience in managing enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Cloud Computing:
Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
System Administration:
Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and email systems
Experience with backup and recovery systems.
Automation and Scripting:
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible,
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for process automation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Expertise in IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Experience with system monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.
Knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting complex systems.
Security and Compliance:
Strong understanding of security best practices, including access controls and encryption.
DevOps Practices:
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab.
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Min 12years experience along with experience in a team management or lead role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects.
Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus. Bring out your best
