Job Title: Manager - Manufacturing Management

Job Purpose:
As a person responsible for their organization, this person is responsible for formulating and executing policies related to the management of safety assurance at the manufacturing site and of the labor environment, the maintenance and improvement of QCD, the management of resources including outsourcing, the allocation of sub-materials and tools, and the promotion of technician training and multi-functional workers.
Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Management
- Responsible for grasping the procedures and important control points for manufacturing the target products, and for training the workers on site and managing their daily working hours.
- Based on the production plan issued by production management, we implement management and maintenance of workers and surrounding infrastructure in order to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- If parts are missing or manufacturing defects occur, be able to work with other departments to troubleshoot the problem.
2. Manufacturing Cost Management
- Keep track of the necessary fixtures and consumables for production, and replenish the site without excess or shortage.
- Plan and implement operations that consider improving energy efficiency in daily production activities.
3. Health, Safety and Environment
- Monitor and review performance against HS&E KPIs, and patterns of behavior within the area of responsibility; Take action improve performance and to resolve non-compliance with the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions.
4. Work Scheduling and Allocation
- Develop medium- or long-term work schedules that enable the organization to achieve its business goals. Involves coordinating across multiple teams.
- Calculate production efficiency and maintain appropriate workers’ levels.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Review existing operations in a major area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered.
6. Equipment / Tools / MRO Management
- Manage and deliver required service levels for a portfolio of facilities services under the leadership of more senior colleagues.
7. Building Capability
- Implement the formal development framework for a team, with guidance from senior colleagues. Provide informal coaching to others throughout the organization in area of expertise.
8. Common Responsibility

Experience:
- Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years )
- Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 4 years to 8 years)
- Proven track record for excellent project management as well as employee training in productivity and safety.
- Global communication with the staffs in Japan, US and China
- Can agree to being transferred for factory relocation in future according to business expansion
Skills:
- Good understanding of manufacturing production management
- Ability in manufacturing production and management and customer/supplier relationship management.
- Leadership with ability to drive a team.

- Ability to work under pressure
- Should have technical skills to assess and improve the overall functionality of the manufacturing process of the compressors.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met as per required industry standards.
- Determine quality control standards
- Lead all on-floor daily activities as per the production schedule
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
- And, all other essential skills required as part of the role.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration / industrial engineering or relevant field is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) global standards.
