Keep firsthand track of all trucking requests from customers. Ensure all requests are being sent to the correct set of transporters and quotes are being sent to customers as per agreed turnaround times.
Ensure vehicles are available at the right time and there are no service failures. Responsible to ensure any challenges faced are acted upon as a priority.
Ensure all necessary personnel are kept updated with information regarding challenges faced in movement.
Meet customers to appraise them about transportation product. Ensure we pick up maximum information about the customers and highlight opportunities to another DP World BUs as found fit. Generate enquiries and close the same. Ensure bookings are received and required prices are procured from vendors.
Responsible for ensuring volumes and revenue targets are achieved from the concerned location.
Ensure receivables are under control.
Responsible for functioning of the transport team and new clients for the business enhancement.
Ensure necessary enhancements to the transport application are effectively raised and work to take it to a logical conclusion.
Take up any additional / changed responsibilities as found necessary by the company.
