We are seeking a Vendor Risk Management Lead to oversee and enhance our vendor risk assessment processes. This role requires expertise in Apex Analytics, risk evaluation, and lifecycle tracking. You will manage a team of 10 professionals, ensuring timely and efficient risk assessments while collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
We will count on you to:
Lead a team of 10 in executing vendor risk management activities.
• Develop and maintain support scorecards to assess vendor performance.
• Initiate and oversee Internal Risk Assessments (IRA) and External Risk Assessments (ERA).
• Collaborate with vendors and internal risk teams to ensure timely completion of assessments.
• Track and manage the entire risk assessment lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate potential vendor-related risks proactively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide regular reports and insights on vendor risk trends and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:

 


What you need to have: 


• Proven experience in vendor risk management, preferably with Apex Analytics.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and lifecycle tracking tools.


•5-7- Years of experience in Vendor Risk Management with experience in Purchasing, Sourcing or vendor management will be an added advantage


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CIPS qualification an advantage

  • Exposure to ERP such as Oracle, SAP
  • Working experience with Vendor management tools such as Apex, Voyager
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Project Management Capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (internally, with client stakeholders, and the supplier community)
  • Ability to summarize information with an eye for details
  • Strong team player
