Functional Description:
This position is in Global Commercial Marketing Decision Science Team supporting the Global Commercial Services (GCS) Analytics & Investment Team for US market. The role is responsible for developing next gen decision science solutions for marketing use cases through best-in-class algorithms and deep business understanding. As a leader of a highly skilled team of technical and data experts, the role will be responsible for optimizing the way we target our prospects and existing customers by enhancing commercial data attributes, build best-in-class decision science solutions for effective targeting of prospect businesses in international markets for acquisition across AXP products. The position is part of a highly collaborative environment, interacting with and influencing partners across Global Commercial Services and Global Decision Science Teams.
Responsibilities:
·Building best-in-class data science solutions for commercial data attributes to augment data quality and in turn drive data-driven targeting for commercial acquisitions
·Delivering on modeling priorities - Developing and enhancing statistical models by utilizing the best-in-class ML modeling techniques
·Developing the Modeling solutions following the principles of model governance and controls established by the second and third line
·Work closely with business partners for requirement gathering and delivering solutions
·Research, develop, and present ideas and solutions to the multiple stakeholders
·Lead, engage and inspire a team of highly skilled decision science professionals
Qualifications:
·Post graduate (M.Tech / MBA / M. Stats / MA Economics) with 3+ years of work experience in similar decision science and/or analytics role with financial or related industry
·Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of highly skilled analysts in developing information-driven solutions for our customers
·Experience working in highly cross-functional environment, flexibility and adaptability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities
·Demonstrated ability to apply cutting edge statistical techniques to solve business problems
·Ability to understand data, synthesize into real-world meaning, break down business problems, and conduct brainstorming
·Good working knowledge of data mining techniques and open source machine Learning algorithms
·Relevant statistical analysis/econometric experience required and able to effectively translate analytical findings to business implications
·Excellent communications skills written and oral
