Serving as the subject matter expert on CORE methodologies and tools for GETC-India (Lean, Six Sigma, and CI)


Job Title:


Manager -ACE (Hybrid)


Primary Responsibilities:


Serving as the subject matter expert on CORE methodologies and tools for GETC-India (Lean, Six Sigma, and CI)
Support communication and training on the practical application of CORE principles.
Working with CORE council members to implement the CORE requirements across GETC-I, gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve processes relative to the program efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate and/or support engagements and Goal Alignment to help improve Engineering/Shared functions processes and sharing of lessons learned across the organization.
Prepare and lead CORE maturity assessments for various sub-domains identified in GETC-I, ensuring follow through and closure on all improvement action items.
Development and reporting of CORE metrics ensuring tool usage, training and event participation across the site.
Driving continuous improvement through the use of CORE Operating System and role modeling behavior.
Prepare leadership status and other business reports such as GA progress reviews/dashboards. 


Basic Qualification:



Engineering degree with at least 12+ years of professional work experience, with a minimum of 4 years of experience to include: leading and applying fundamental lean and CI tools to achieve tangible results, and hands-on experience in the application of CORE / any CI methods and way of thinking or similar operating system rooted in a culture of continuous improvement and lean principles; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



- Strong understanding of CI tools like Kaizen, Process analysis, process mapping, VSM etc.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, required for the function
- Demonstrated competency working across teams; capable of facilitating training and providing subject matter expertise on CORE training materials to ensure a successful CORE certification program.
- Experience in developing and maintaining standard work; organization/project management skills.
