The position
As a  People Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for all deliveries and contributions for Human Resource DD&IT Staffs GBS (HR DDIT Business Solutions) and be an integral part of HR DD&IT ART leadership.  This department comprises of  SAP SuccessFactors modules & solutions – Employee Central, Talent Succession,  SF Goals, Employee Profile, SF LearnIt, Employee Documents, RMT, Reporting & Analytics. You will have the opportunity to:


  • Align expectations and communication with ART Leadership team, LoB stakeholders, Business Owners/Process Owner delegates. Engage with Business owner / Product owner / Product mgmt., and vendors to plan system strategies.
  • Review progress on system strategic initiatives, compliance, audit readiness, and implement mitigating actions as required. Support the execution of the annual ONEReview process for the whole organization.
  • Participate in PI planning’s, meeting with key stakeholders for systems in the portfolio. Control budget of both staff and systems.
  • Manage and develop a team of talented individuals. Attract, onboard, and retain top talent. Coach and mentor employees on building and applying competencies.
  • Support transformation and transition initiatives. Facilitate groups to help solve organizational challenges. Support the agile transformation and foster an agile DevOps mindset.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:


  • Master’s or Graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT. Pharmaceutical industry experience or similar life science backgrounds is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management. Must have proficiency in managing or performing work associated with analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of  information technology resources / cloud applications.
  • Experience in SOX, GDPR, GxP is highly preferrable. Must have prior experience with budget management. Knowledge of HR systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors modules and solutions will be a plus.
  • Experience in overseeing multiple digital and IT areas within an organization, including IT systems, IT support, IT operations, and digital innovation.
  • Ability to identify, define, and develop solutions to complex issues and problems in
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. Must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.

You will be organizationally placed in HR DD&IT in GBS (Global Business Services), reporting to the local Head of DD&IT Staffs GBS. The internal IT systems in Novo Nordisk support our 55,000 colleagues globally and our 5,000 managers.
