If so, Guardian Life Insurance Company is actively seeking a passionate, driven Managed File Transfer Senior Engineer to provide monitoring and operational support for Guardian’s secure managed file transfer system. The role will provide secure file transfer development and deployment, platform operations monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and customer service to our partners Monday through Friday with on-call rotation for 24x7 Support.Qualifications:

You are 

A flexible Monday through Friday Service Management Professional with a working knowledge of industry standard technologies relating to secure file transfers. 

You have  

Working knowledge of the following industry standard technologies is required for this role, including: 

• Experience in Design, Implementation & Administration of Axway MFT product suite (Edge/Secure transport/Proxy) in distributed environments. 
• Requirement analysis, implementation of Axway MFT setups and modifications of existing flow to fulfil new requests received from client. 
• Experience in Setup file transfer configuration in Axway MFT. 
• Managing Axway MFT Edge & Application Server to create and manage objects like, Boundary, Sites, Applications, Dropbox, Templates, Trading Partners. 
• Experience with configuring Axway Sentinel. 
• Knowledge of Axway APIs with automation experience. 
• Knowledge of file transfers using FTP, SSH, and HTTPS protocols with the ability to troubleshoot from Server OS/Application Platform. 
• Experience in Creating trading partners, SSH remote profiles to establish end-to-end setup between client and vendor's applications. 
• Experience in Dropbox & Boundary configuration. 
• Experience in Job scheduling of MFT objects through Axway Scheduler/Third Party Scheduler. 
• Liaising with external partner to understand requirement and build file transfer interfaces. 
• Added advantage if candidate has any Migration experience of File transfer interfaces between Axway Versions. 
• Experience in any Shell scripting. 
• Should have Strong Troubleshooting experience in identifying the routing failure and determination of root cause of failure. 
• Configures secure file transfer (SFTP) definitions in Axway Secure Transport to securely deliver files to intended destination. 
• Works with internal and external customers to configure and troubleshoot file transfers. 
• Provide Testing and Deployment support 
• Works with Information Security on firewall configurations and IP Whitelisting. 
• Implements proper security certificates for SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS protocols, including data encryption/decryption, example PGP. 
• Monitors performance of file transfers and resolves operational problems. 
• Works with Axway vendor to troubleshoot software issues. 
• Provides Disaster Recovery planning, documentation, and support. 
• Provides 24x7 on-call rotation support for Axway Secure Transport file transfers including weekends and holidays. 
• Experience with MSSQL and RDBMS 
• Knowledge of Server Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, and Unix) 
• Knowledge of AWS with certifications 
• Highly focused on following security procedures. 
• Experience working with Information Security and infrastructure teams in support of managed file transfer software. 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Good oral and written communication skills 
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
