Mission Statement: Repair & Maintenance Engineering focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment including: Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications. Performing engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts. Liaising with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules. Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Your Responsibilities: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the plant. Supervise and train electrical maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient operations. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability of electrical systems. Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to maintain continuous plant operations. Plan and manage electrical projects, including upgrades and new installations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, inspections, and safety checks. Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 8+ years' experience in transformer field. Extensive experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting, with a strong understanding of plant operations. Experience in electrical systems, including AC/DC power supplies, inverter drives, and PLCs. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
