Job Summary:
The Logistics Claims Specialist is responsible for managing and processing claims related to logistics operations, including lost, damaged, or delayed shipments. This role involves investigating claims, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution. The Logistics Claims Specialist aims to minimize financial losses and enhance customer satisfaction through effective claims management.
Based at our Bengaluru office, India, you will report directly to the Operations Solutions Center Logistics Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
·Receive and review claims related to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.
·Investigate claims by gathering necessary information from internal departments, customers, and carriers.
·Document all claims accurately and thoroughly in the claims management system.
·Conduct detailed investigations to determine the validity and cause of claims.
·Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams to gather relevant information.
·Communicate with customers, carriers, and insurance companies to resolve claims efficiently.
·Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims and related documentation.
·Prepare and submit regular reports on claims status, trends, and resolutions to management.
·Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all claims processing activities.
·Provide timely and professional communication to customers regarding the status of their claims.
·Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate financial losses.
·Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in claims management.
·Identify areas for improvement in the claims process and recommend solutions.
·Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
·Collaborate with the logistics team to implement process improvements and best practices.
Qualifications:
·Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
·Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, claims management, or a related field.

·Excellent organizational and time management skills
·Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
