About You and This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Operations Leader to join our International Trade Operations (ITO) team. The successful candidate will lead a team of coordinators in export documentation, customs operations, Marine Packed Cargo (MPC), and Air logistics for Europe. This role requires a deep understanding of international trade compliance, logistics, and supply chain operational practices. The location is Mumbai, India.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a diverse team of logistics coordinators, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Conduct annual performance reviews, create employee development plans, and foster a positive employee experience.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of export documentation packages, ensuring compliance with European trade regulations and customs requirements. Manage escalations and root cause investigations for any compliance issues.
- Ensure efficient and effective leverage operations for Marine Packed Cargo (MPC) and Air logistics.
- Manage Service Level Agreements across the functions.
- Collaborate with various functions and businesses located in Europe to support and maintain import and export control, and logistics efficiency. Interface with key departments impacting logistics operations.
- Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled team. Deliver operating procedures and discipline, and trainings to enhance team capabilities.
- Act as the focal point for mode QNs, investigations, corrective actions, and issue escalation, and serve as RCI team Lead for P1 events.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or other related fields.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade operations.

- This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design and implementation of logistics operations strategies for the region.
- Working hours aligned with Central European Time – requirements to work according to European national holidays.
