Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize and create the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and other service providers.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost efficiency and financial performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall logistics performance.
• Technology Integration: Utilize logistics management software and other technological tools to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to align logistics activities with business goals.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, preferably in the edible oil industry.
• Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations and driving process improvements.
• Strong understanding of logistics software, systems, and tools.
