Job description
- Requires candidate to have basic supply chain management knowledge and good understanding of .NET platform.
- Prior experience in working in Logistics related business processes is preferred. Documents logistics business processes and translates business requirements into IT requirements.
- Performs the analyst role and communicates both to the business users and IT team.
- Assists in testing IT solutions to ensure it meets business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate with customers to design solutions to address complex cross functional needs.
- Maintains business process documentation for logistics areas.
- Writes solution documents to solve business requirements and works with IT team to help understand business requirements. Understanding of .NET will help with specifications and testing.
- Performs unit and integration testing of IT solutions.
- Hels business perform User Acceptance Testing by preparing data and documenting defects and fixes.
- Works with support team to provide documentation and help provide support after going live of projects.
- Travels to logistics sites to provide specific support on a need basis.
