Job Summary:We are looking for a Loan IQ Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements for IT projects, specifically in the financial services sector.
Software Requirements:- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
- Knowledge of data modeling and mapping tools.
- Familiarity with LoanIQ and its functionalities is a plus.
Overall Responsibilities:- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and use cases.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
- Conduct impact analysis and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment of business solutions with organizational goals.
Technical Skills:- Business Analysis:
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Ability to develop use cases and functional specifications.
- Financial Services Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of loan products, banking operations, and financial services processes.
- Project Management:
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in monitoring project timelines and deliverables.
- Data Analysis:
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL is a plus).
Experience:- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or related industries.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Conduct workshops and meetings to elicit input and feedback.
- Create and maintain functional specifications and use cases.
- Work with IT teams to ensure the accurate implementation of requirements.
- Monitor project status and report progress to stakeholders.
- Assist in conducting user acceptance testing and gather feedback for improvements.
- Analyze project impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or related industries.
Soft Skills:- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and facilitate discussions.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to identifying business needs.
