As a Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare internal presentations targeted to senior management, business segment leadership or the broader CIB audience on a variety of liquidity product related topics
- Provide weekly and monthly management reporting on the Liquidity and account solution such as balance and revenue trending, client count, cross product analysis, regional split and overview summary
- Monitor product performance on monthly basis, provide in depth variance analysis and business outlook to global/ regional product leads
- Design and build new reports that provide management with information on product performance, portfolio insights, product pricing, and other key KPI’s highlighting business/segment performance
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis around various business subject matter, provide valuable data driven insight to facilitate business decision making
- Partner with relevant group, incase of data related challenges or discrepancies
- Take responsibility and accountability for robust quality control and standards
- Ad hoc projects/task as requested
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- CA/ MBA - Finance (Tier 2) or equivalent qualified having 2+ years’ experience in Financial Services, and/or product controller reporting background
- Strong financial analytical skills – fusion of finance and data capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Detail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely manner, and in a presentable manner
- Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems and ability to consider multiple dimensions of an issue
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task and handle competing priorities under pressure
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner
- Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities
Preferred capabilities and skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint and knowledge of Essbase and SAP Business Object preferable
- Experience with visualization and data massaging tools such as Alteryx and Tableau preferred
