Job Description
Preferably to our tech center in Prague, alternatively to Pune, we are looking for a Specialist, Digital Foundational Services, Lifecycle Management, who is charged with ensuring that the data associated with our Applications, Infrastructure, and their meta data is maintained in a controlled and accurate state.
Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.
This role is directly reporting into the Digital Foundational Services Lead in GAHM IT.
Responsibilities
Creates & maintains IT operations and lifecycle management plans for infrastructure, application, and automation components, including support of manufacturing and lab operations, to keep our digital solutions and platforms stable, compliant, secure, and predictable, and demonstrates continuous improvement in the associated operational metrics, capabilities, and processes
Responsible to proposes enhancements to current systems and where required works to implement new solutions to maintain data
Applies a structured approach to discover, document, and manage business process, user and stakeholder needs, including opportunity statements, use cases, insights, and requirements
Partner with cross-functional groups within IT and to mature or current operating methods to ensure simplified and consistent operations
Provides subject matter expertise, independent perspectives, new ideas, thought partnership, education, upskilling, tools, and execution support to new opportunities. Collaborates with VT stakeholders and operates as a trusted advisor and partner to drive successful identification of opportunities and associated business cases
Leverages business and user insight to help inform solutioning ideas and prioritization decisions to deliver valuable products. Has knowledge of and leverages existing solutions to benefit their stakeholders through using IT communities. Introduces and inspires change at all stages of product development
Provides advice, guidance and direction in carrying out plans and procedures; ensures operations meet business needs for speed, quality and compliance
Identifies and implements opportunities for process simplification and improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Regulatory compliance or a related study
3+ years working as a member of a lifecycle management team with experience working in an operational capacity in an IT or manufacturing environment
Experience with ITSM tools and CMDB data structures
Demonstrated experience of how to communicate with data in digital forms such as dashboards
Well organized and adaptable to unstructured situations. Comfortable in all SDLC phases where projects are conceptualized, issues discussed/ resolved, and business cases are developed for a global launch
Good understanding of end-to-end Manufacturing business processes and value streams inclusive of Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply chain
Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders and navigate across conflicting priorities to balance critical tactical and strategic needs
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills – able to effectively communicate complex concepts in simple ways
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a variety of audiences and stakeholders including executive management, business leaders, IT peers, and colleagues worldwide
Strategic thinker, with demonstrated ability to work in a broad and top-down manner with a fair amount of ambiguity
Results-orientation with the proven ability and reputation for developing plans and implementing them successfully
Self-directed, self-motivated, focused leader who with little direction can fill in the gaps as to what is needed, and drive expected results
Preferred Experience and Skills (Education minimum requirements subject to change based on country)
Expertise in data visualization platforms
Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements (21CFR part 11, Annex 11, etc.) that apply to computerized systems validation and compliance for site based as well as divisional and enterprise systems
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with specific experience in the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Quality areas – ideally involving cross industry collaboration to drive best practices
Experience in integrating real time shopfloor and lab systems, at an enterprise level, with appropriate levels of resiliency and performance
Experience in manufacturing analytics systems, including supply and demand forecasting, biologics process modelling and advanced image analysis
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
Strong understanding of application development methodologies
