Job Summary:
J.P. Morgan is seeking talented candidates for a Vice President level position in Legal Entity Market Risk team, based in Mumbai.
Market Risk is an independent risk group, overseen by the Corporate Investment Bank Chief Risk Officer, which measures, monitors and controls market risk. Within Market Risk department, Legal Entity Market Risk team focuses on market risk management across each individual legal entity.
Market risk management seeks to ensure that the firm's market risk profile is transparent to senior management, the Board of Directors and regulators. Legal Entity Market Risk coverage staff has regular dialogue with the trading desks and businesses with respect to risk appetite, risk limits and individual large and complex transactions. The group has teams aligned to each legal entities and region and works closely with the Front Office, CFOs, CROs and legal entity Finance and other support functions to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and provide independent risk return assessments to support business growth.
As a Vice President in the Legal Entity Market Risk team, you will manage the interface and relationship with local regulators around Market Risks. This requires an understanding and interpretation of the local regulatory requirements and providing a consistent response to each of the individual regulators with whom we interact. For those entities, Legal Entity Market Risk is responsible for risk oversight and control of the legal entities, which involves the establishment of a cross line of business framework for the measurement and control of market risks at the legal entity level.
