Transactional Contracts: Draft, review and negotiate contracts for business units to enable the achievement of business goals;
Business Advisory: Participate and provide legal advise to business units regarding Mobility topics, product liability, Antitrust laws and Product compliance of automotive parts and effectively identify risk factors, to provide timely legal advise and enable business growth. Advise on capital markets deals in India, SEBI laws and regulations and related laws from legal perspective, sustainability, corporate structuring etc.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders in aligning their business requirements within the external legal framework to devise an effective business strategy
Risk Management: Liaise with Senior Legal Counsel to provide risk analysis on possible legal issues and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations to minimize liability exposure.
Law Degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college in India.
Experience in corporate secretarial laws and/ or Post graduation in a specialized field of law (LLM) is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in laws relating to contracts, capital markets, SEBI laws, ESG, product liability and Anti-Trust.
Experience in reputed law firms or with Global Multinational Companies in the Auto or other Manufacturing sectors.
Experience gained from a reputable commercial law firm and then made transition to the in-house legal team of a recognized entity particularly in sectors such as automotive, FMCG or other manufacturing.
