Job Description
Litigation and Real Estate attorney
- Be able to strategize in resolving trouble projects, advise on disputes/ litigation strategy, advisory, outside counsel engagement and representation of Bosch before Courts and forums.
- Litigation: Experience in prosecuting and defending all litigation cases filed by and against Bosch and advising external counsels
- Real estate of Bosch in India. Strategy, handling of legal issues, compliance, due diligence and record keeping.
- Contract management and be able to adapt to changing legal trends and use of technology in legal advise.
- Be able to draft, negotiate complex transactions for business units in India and support Global transactions enabling to achieve business goals.
- Good understanding of general corporate laws, Information technology, Cyber Security, data privacy, Intellectual Property Laws & Software related areas of practice. Be able to identify risk and counsel business.
- Legal Advisory: Supervise ongoing litigations and communicate regular updates to business units on all ongoing and future litigation issues to develop practical solutions and the future road map on litigation cases.
- Real Estate Advisory: Communicate to leadership of business units on all Real Estate issues and define a practical solutions and future road map for effective utilization of owned and leased company properties.
- Risk Management: Liaise with Senior Legal Counsel to provide risk analysis on possible legal issues and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations to minimize liability exposure.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with business units and external counsels on litigation strategies to effectively represent the Company before courts of Law to safeguard the Company's interest and reputation.
- Business Enablement: Participate and provide legal advice on day to day operations and equip business stakeholders on need to know legal topics to support in the achievement of business goals
Qualifications
At least 5-7 years’ post-qualification relevant legal experience
Bachelor’s law degree from an accredited institution. A master's degree from a reputed institution would be advantageous.
Additional Information
Experience gained from a reputable commercial law firm and then made transition to the in-house legal team of a recognized entity particularly in sectors such as automotive, FMCG or other manufacturing.
