ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, creating content for, and managing the end to end delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and overall performance across the organization. A key focus will be on developing and facilitating engaging learning experiences, as well as overseeing the entire lifecycle of training projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a strong combination of facilitation skills, project management expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement in learning and development.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Training Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of training projects, including the creation of project plans, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget communicating progress at key milestones.


  • Program Design & Development: Work independently, collaborating with SMEs and key stakeholders to identify training needs and design programs that align with organizational goals. Develop content that is relevant, impactful, and easily applicable.


  • Training Facilitation: Lead the facilitation of training sessions, ensuring that learning objectives are met through interactive and engaging methods. Adapt delivery styles to meet the needs of diverse audiences.


  • Evaluation & Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and impact of learning experiences.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of training initiatives with strategic business objectives. Build strong relationships to effectively communicate the value of learning and development and influence outcomes.


  • Account Management Ownership: As part of the OneHR model, represent the Global Talent COE across multiple business units in the Account Management structure.  You are the key point of contact, taking ownership of the relationship between the COE & the business, and advocating for Talent Management processes & Talent Development initiatives.  


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will have:


  • Facilitation Expertise: Proven ability to facilitate training sessions effectively, with a focus on participant engagement and knowledge retention.


  • Efficient Task Coordination: Strong project leadership skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


  • Training Design: Experience in designing and developing training programs that are aligned with business goals and tailored to meet the needs of different audiences.


  • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuously improving training programs based on feedback and evaluation results.


  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


  • Strategic Insight: Strong business acumen with an understanding of internal and external business environments. Ability to align learning programs with broader organizational goals and objectives.


  • Global Perspective: A global mindset, with the ability to design and implement programs that meet the needs of a diverse, multinational workforce.


  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization


  • Google Suite: Advanced skills in all google suite applications, specifically Slides, Sheets and GMail functionality


  • Agile & Adaptive: Ability to adapt quickly to emerging needs within a changing environment.  Highly organised and able to efficiently manage multiple priorities with a strong operational / delivery focus.


Preferred: 


  • Significant relevant experience in the Learning & Development field, planning and preparation, presentation and facilitation, designing and developing learning materials, and project or program management.


  • Previous leadership experience, proven ability to lead and inspire teams, whether through direct management or by influencing and guiding others indirectly.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.


  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or facilitation (e.g., ATD).


  • Proficient in using Articulate 360 suite
