The Lead Software Engineer for HemoCue is responsible for HemoCue’s digital solutions which includes mobile, desktop and cloud applications.

This position is part of the HemoCue’s R&D team at Danaher India Development Center (IDC) in Bangalore and will be hybrid. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design Software as per the product architecture and requirements ensuring adherence to the software development processes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams (locally & globally) to ensure product releases meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability and schedule goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the designs

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology
• 9 to 12 years of proven experience in software development using Java technologies and Android Development using Java (optional)
• Hands-on experience with Figma, Sketch, Axure, Invision Studio, Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office.
• Must have worked in agile/scrum environment
• Must have working experience on cloud, preferably AWS
• Experience working in healthcare domain
• Passion for mobile devices and applications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Good understanding of software development processes, preferably for a regulated medical devices environment (ISO13485/FDA)
