We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Test responsible for ensuring quality assurance of software solutions for life sciences devices.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Develop Automated test cases using technologies such as Test Complete, Python, Selenium or Cypress
• Responsible for definition of software test strategy, test plan, test infrastructure, planning and execution of automation and manual test cases
• Demonstrated ability to write and review Software Verification Plans and organize, lead, and execute formal tests.
• Define test plans, test scenarios, and manual and automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Actively support the development team in the investigation of identified issues (root cause analysis, reproducibility steps etc.)
• Participate in requirements and architecture reviews to come up with an appropriate test strategy
• Support the continuous improvement of the software testing process
• Work in an iterative product release environment, continuously focusing on quality and delivery goals

The required qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in commercial software development with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
• 3+ years of experience using test automation technologies such as Test Complete, Python, Selenium or Cypress
• Experience working with scripting language such as bash script
• Ability to comprehend and address functional issues within the entire test system
• Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a cross-functional team.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Understanding of software development processes in a regulated environment
• Software development experience in the life sciences / medical device domain
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience with Git and Linux
