About Position / Position Summary
- Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking to hire SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Architect position to join their team in Bengaluru, India. These positions will focus on supporting the SAP implementation projects for Boeing business units like BCA, BDS and BGS.
This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.
Position Responsibilities:
- Independently take up and participate in Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment.
- Able to define technology-enabled solutions, prototype and configure SAP-EHS systems with high proficiency. Integration knowledge of SAP EHS with SAP SD, LE, MM, PP, & TM modules.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems.
- Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation.
- Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues.

- Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team. Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
- Define requirements and designs and verify robust architecture data and information management systems and components across SAP and non-SAP systems. Establish design constraints and ensure architecture conforms to requirements. Assess the feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives based on SAP and industry best practices. Perform trade-off analyses.
- Leading the evaluation of new releases or alternate software, reviewing business and technical literature, and interacting with analysts and user groups.
- Leading the development and configuration management of architecture views and models that describe the system using standard techniques and tools.
- Supporting the specification of documentation and model standard forms and tools.
- Ensure that all SAP solutions follow security, compliance controls, and conformance to firms IT security standard.
- Collaborates with individuals across departments (IT and business) to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches, and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions.
- Working with the ERP Architect colleagues, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of SAP systems and capabilities in the ERP ecosystem.
- Flexibility to work with overlapping time zones with the US teams.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
- 12+ years of total IT experience
- 8+ years of experience in configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP EHS solutions.
- 2+ full lifecycle implementations in SAP EHS module including Scoping and Planning, Process Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support
- Relevant Industry certifications for SAP EHS
- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification is desired.
- Experience working with SAP EDI, RFC, and interface with non-SAP systems.
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 Plus years' related work experience or Master’s Degree with 12+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
