This role is responsible for leading the process and systems analysis for a portfolio of Knowledge System Products using AGILE DevOps methodology identifying, prioritizing, and realizing high-value opportunities to improve Value from Use Cases.
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and maintain the assets and practices for understanding CMC processes and data flows that will power the CMC Knowledge system and analytic solutions that will serve the business functions. This role will lead the efforts on understanding the problem being solved and the related information necessary to solve them whilst guiding teams on how to implement within the IT Processes at GSK. You will work closely with senior Product Management, business representatives and other Tech & Data experts to design the strategy to ensure the products meet the business requirements.
More broadly, the role will involve:
Being part of a team including the CMC Knowledge System Director, product managers, business leaders and other stakeholders to identify opportunities where Knowledge Graph and other Data & AI capabilities can have a transformative impact on GSK’s CMC and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
Provide data and information access guidance for other Data & AI Products in the CMC/NPI portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Product Management to shape overall product vision and strategy by engaging and understanding stakeholder/business needs then ensuring they are accurately reflected in technical solutions
Accountable for ensuring Analytics outcomes are continually improved such that product and service offerings stay aligned with changing business needs and strategic objectives
Performing management of product squads operating within Agile methodology and IT processes as required
Gathering requirements to define product roadmaps, epics, features and user stories to maximize acceleration of value from hypothesis through experimental outcome to industrialization
Working with team members to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to
Taking responsibility for the quality of the managed products & services
Interacting with stakeholders as necessary to clarify requirements (primarily related to data and analytics) and agree on priorities
Build and maintain relationships with key CMC business data and System SME’s.
Review project team solution designs to ensure technical alignment & consistency against predefined target architecture and established standards
Work in partnership with third party suppliers to formulate and execute delivery of customer-focused Product & Services
Assist in developing standards for service solutions as key components of the overall Data & Analytics Knowledge System strategy
Why you?
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Data or Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent technical field
5 to 8year of overall experience.
>2 years of Product Management experience within a cloud environment including managing day-to-day operations
>2 years’ experience managing stakeholder relationships including influencing & negotiating outcomes
Experience using computer languages (R, Python, SQL etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Experience with Data Modelling tools and concepts like Facts and Dimensions, SCD etc.
Experience with Data Architecture in Cloud Environment, Cloud Migration process and Data Warehousing.
Experience in Risk and Mitigation of a project, Impact analysis, building RACI and dependency analysis.
Experience working together with partners across multicultural global organization (English language skills required to be proficient in speaking and writing)
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in software development teams. Competent in managing day to-day technical and design direction and experience with IT systems and processes.
Knowledge and experience in MS Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Analytics SaaS platform implementation
Previous experience working in CMC (within the Pharmaceutical Industry) or experience with highly regulated industries.
Practical experience with Data Science, Machine Learning, and ML solution development or delivery
Familiarity with graph technologies such as Resource Description Framework (RDF), Web Ontology Language (OWL), SPARQL, and Cypher
Agile Product Management certification e.g. SCRUM, SAFe
Familiarity with Service Now.
